We're a Filipino-led, Barcelona-based team that has been quietly running households and offices for the city's international community since 2020. This is the team you'll be speaking to.

Our story

Started in lockdown. Built on referrals.

BCN Ideal Services was founded by Lyn Lozano Galicia in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, with the help of her long-time friend and confidant Manuel Silva Manzanero. Lyn had spent a decade catering to international clients in Barcelona, and saw the same problem repeating itself. Families arriving here couldn't find the safe, vetted, bilingual household help they were used to.

Five years later we're still a tight team. We work mostly by referral, mostly with international families, and mostly with the same household staff year after year. We grew by being chosen, not by chasing.

If you've worked with us before, thank you. If you haven't yet, here is what you can expect. You will talk to a human. We will listen carefully. We will match you with the right person, or tell you honestly if we can't. And we will keep showing up.

Lyn Lozano Galicia

Born to her humble parents in the South Eastern part of Luzon in The Philippines, Lyn moved to the beautiful city of Barcelona over a decade ago looking for a new blueprint for the future. Back in the Philippines she has experience as a prototype/project technician in a multinational-level company in the engineering department. Being strong-willed, persistent, unstoppable and with tons of ideas in mind, she started to develop a skillset to make it happen, leveraging her hunger for learning, excellent communication skills, natural leadership, strong social conscience, an imaginative problem-solver and oozing confidence. Lyn founded BCN Ideal Services right after the pandemic hit in 2020, with the help of her long-time friend and confidant Manuel Silva Manzanero. As a professional with a decade of experience catering to international clients, Lyn founded the company in mission to help expat community and locals alike to make their life easier by providing ideal services such as nannies, babysitters and housekeepers and more. She is also a certified massage therapist and an employee before becoming sole practitioner in the craft.

Hola! I am Nina Ruzel Paggao. I work at BCN Ideal Services as administrative staff. My task is to provide support to ensure the efficient operation of the office such as arranging interviews, coordinating hiring efforts, and onboarding new employees. More so, my task is to ensure proper filing of procurement papers and other administrative deliverables.
